Greetings.
We live in times of great promise and great darkness.
I pray you would seek the Lord and not settle for what “others” may believe about this or that, or the status quo, but would search the Scriptures diligently and discover the pearl of great price Jesus has waiting just for you in this season.
Jesus loves to respond to the slightest gaze of our eyes. If you don’t know where to begin, he will work with you and point you in the right direction.
His promise not to leave us as orphans is more certain than the morning sunrise.
He may require you to do some deep digging and searching, but he is not one to disappoint – it all works to build deeper roots and hunger and thirst for him.
The joy of discovery is worth the journey of travel, endurance, and perseverance.
The New Testament era is almost complete. We have more in our hands today than any time in history. Let’s allow him to make the most of it in our lives.
Together, lets respond to the call of God to go deeper.

If you skip sections in this post, please read “The Voice of the Lord” in Part II and “Back to 1 Timothy 4:1-5” in Part III below. There’s “spiritual food” in these sections I don’t want you to miss.
I’ve divided this post into 4 Parts so you can read at different times.
Part I
“Food” is a big topic in Scripture, competing against the voice of the Lord (whether written or spoken) over and over again.
Adam and Eve struggled and lost their direction and way, having to take a different path.
Graciously, our heavenly father rescued them, speaking a new commission into their lives, though, he could not undo the “separation” – it would take 4,000 years for that to happen with the second Adam, and another two millenniums for the end time bride.
Jesus, fathered by God, “… learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation…” (NIV, Hebrews 5:8 – 9), won the battle over “food,” reclaiming the journey Adam and Eve lost, putting to death the deeds of the body, the hostility in his flesh (Romans Chapter 6, see an interlinear for Ephesians 2:14 – 15, 1 Peter 3:18, etc.,), ushering in the new creation for you and me.
Every part of our being demands to be fed, in one form or another, from our body to our spirit, and our heart to our mind.
Jesus has a unique and special meal plan for you and me, and the enemy does as well.
Even as Christians, we have unwittingly and unknowingly – and maybe even foolishly and negligently at times – eaten from the table of the enemy.
Christ is here to change all that. He’s here to take you and me into the deep places of his Spirit and word – a new menu and banquet.
You do not want to miss the move of the Holy Spirit in our generations.
If you do not “eat” from his voice, you will “eat” from the voice of another.
It’s a mistake to believe one can skip some of the “meals” the Lord has diligently prepared and safely travel the long road ahead.
Jesus said, “‘I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.’” (NIV, John 6:51)
“‘Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.’” (NIV, John 6:54 – 55)
“‘The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you – they are full of the Spirit and life.’” (NIV, John 6:63)
Have you asked the Lord what new meal he has prepared specifically for you?
Are there those in the Christian community at large, e.g., Ransomed Heart Ministries, inviting you into the truths of God, such as breaking of agreements, fathering, conversational intimacy, or, other ministries providing resources for counseling, inner healing, deliverance, etc., you find yourself resisting?
Or maybe, even the thought of asking the Lord to take you deeper in him, the theme of my website, you feel resistance?

Refresh
Jesus is revealing more of his nature and desires – his person – at a personal level unlike any time in history.
We should not be surprised.
Actually, it’s absolutely necessary for what the Lord wants to accomplish in his Church, his bride, and his kingdom, in the final stretch of what we call the Church era.
We do not want to go back to the days of the early apostles. That’s impossible.
We are centuries down the road from where they were.
The early apostles had unprecedented revelation of the plan of God in the person of Christ – his plan to save men and women, making them into his likeness.
As John says in 1 John, “… we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched…” (NIV, 1 John 1:1)
They ushered in the Church era, helping to establish the Church.
But we have 2,000 years of church history – presently living in the sixth and seventh (and final) church ages, having understanding, revelation, insight, and resources available to us unheard of in the days of the early church, or any time since.
Christ is ministering in deep areas of people’s lives on a global scale impossible in times past.
The Lord has labored for two millenniums to get the church to the place it is today, one he can birth his last day bride and, ultimately, usher in his millennial earthly reign.
We are feasting on 2,000 years of plowing, sowing, and reaping, in the things of God in the New Testament era, and, another 4,000 years before that of God preparing to get everything in place for the birth, life, and crowning of his Son.
We have six millenniums of redemptive planning coming to fruition, and, possible transition in our lifetimes or in the near future.
And, coincidentally, the world is also feasting on six millenniums, or maybe rather 4,400 years or so since the time of Noah, of plowing, sowing, and reaping, in the things of this world.
Everything is heading toward a big harvest once again!
Failure to understand the plan of God, his calendar, his types and patterns in Scripture, both in the Old and New Covenants, historical markers and parallel accounts – symbolic and otherwise – may lead one to a destination they were not taught or expected.
Christianity is not a stagnant pool of water, but a vibrant, rushing, flowing stream of God’s life-giving spirit and word.
Since the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the early 1900s, we’ve had successive moves of God taking the church deeper and deeper.
For example, tent, stadium, and global evangelism; notable physical healing ministries spanning decades and continents; movements spanning decades and continents (e.g., Jesus Movement, etc.,); outpourings (e.g., Toronto Blessing, etc.,) global media evangelism, and, more currently, deep moves of the Spirit in teaching, deliverance, healing and inner healing (breaking of agreements, etc.), and the prophetic, to name some of the most obvious.
The church has made tremendous advances in the understanding of the gospel and the ministration of resources in the global body of Christ.
Today we have greater clarity on the Scriptures as a whole and the plans and purposes of God in bringing to fruition the Church age.
Yes, the Church went into the dark ages for over a millennium, and yet, even during that time God did deep things in Christ from generation to generation ultimately birthing the Reformation in the 1500s.
Today, men and women around the globe are being “fathered” by the Lord into the deep things of Christ, connection and union with him.
The world would have us believe Jesus is impotent, a figurehead, a passive king happy to sit and smell flowers, and reticent and reluctant to seize what rightly belongs to him.
The enemy knows the work of God takes time, the drawing and wooing of the heart into invitation, healing, and restoration is a long journey – over generations ultimately to be completed and fulfilled in one generation.
He authors confusion into the hearts and minds of God’s people, saying, “… ‘Where is this “coming” he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.’” (NIV, 2 Peter 3:4)
I would not be surprised to discover those same voices in Noah’s day plaguing the hearts and minds of those Noah was attempting to compel to turn to God.
And those same voices can be found in hundreds and hundreds of other situations men and women find themselves facing.
Contrary to the voice of the enemy today, the Church is on the precipice, threshold, of another great revival which may possibly be one in a number to usher in the Millennium.
You do not have to be a scholar to understand the calendar and prophecies of Scripture, the Church ages, and the “GPS readings” that give us insight into where we are in the plan of God.
Even Jesus gave many clues to the signs of the times preceding the great in-gathering in the last days.
From all vantage points it appears our heavenly Father is not far from making a last day bride for his Son.
When the Lord brings the bride to the fullness and stature of Christ, commissioning her in one last global outreach, Christ will be revealed in her, and she in turn will reveal what’s in the hearts and minds of those she ministers to, or in her realm of influence, just like moves of God of the past.

I remember in the latter stages of the Jesus movement in the 70s, a friend of mine from my teenage years was witnessing to me about Christ.
And I remember bumping in to another old friend, while I was waiting to order food at a fast food restaurant, and this person telling me, out of the blue, what a “Jesus freak,” such and such was.
Little did this person know, such and such brought me to Christ, changing my eternal home from death, to a momentous new birth and new life in Jesus.
Part II
The Voice of the Lord
“The Spirit clearly says that in the latter times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
For everything God created is good, and nothing to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” (NIV, 1 Timothy 4:1 – 5)
At times, it may be easy for you and me and other Christians to consider ourselves immune from deception and deceptive teachings and glance quickly over Paul’s warning.
Deception and deceptive teaching can take many forms from purposeful manipulation and distortion to omission, neglect, and foolish ignorance, among others.
Whether in Christ or outside of Christ, wounds, brokenness, and sins, open up many avenues to assault and affliction by the enemy.
But God has a plan to keep us in the grace of his truth, sheltered from deception and deceptive teaching in the revelation of Christ to you and me. (1 Peter 1:13)
His plan includes resources to prepare us for “marriage” and to feed us the “foods” God has consecrated in his word, by Christ’s “prayer” for you and me, and by his Holy Spirit.
The enemy, through a variety of means, is doing everything possible to keep you and me from preparing for the marriage supper of the Lamb by starving God’s hungry and thirsty children from the foods and drink they so desperately need from Christ.
But God!
The “latter times” encompass the entire season of the Church, all seven church ages, the two millenniums (according to God’s calendar) between the Old Covenant and the upcoming millennial rule of Christ.
The latter times is the time God has provided and allotted to the Church.
The rise of the seventh world kingdom, in all probability now in varying stages of development, will bring new heights and depths to the meaning of this passage.
I’ve already noted in a couple of posts the “great apostasy,” which, in all probability, may now be in its early stages, comes to fruition before the end time revival, clearly warned in 2 Thessalonians and Revelation Chapters 3 and 12.
Paul wrote both letters (i.e., 1 Timothy and 2 Thessalonians), and though both warnings apply to their immediate audiences, they transcend the church ages and reach down to you and me.
That is the nature of God’s word. Many scriptures throughout the Bible are immediate and prophetic – a living breathing thread of life flowing from one generation to another birthing the things of God in due season.
Certain Scriptures have greater influence (highlighted) in different seasons of the Church and different parts of our journey than others. It depends upon the work of God in our life and the Church at that particular time.
1 Timothy is one of those passages we need to be mindful and attentive to its warnings throughout our Christian journey, especially, as times get darker and suddenly find ourselves on the front lines of his advance.
There’s no need to fear, Jesus knows how to protect his own. But it’s important for us to be mindful of the enemy and consumed in our savior’s embrace.
Berea
In the book of Acts, it says, “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.” (NIV, Acts 17:11 – 12)
Note:
(It is interesting, the letters to the Thessalonians capture, in a measure, what the Christian church will be like in the closing days of the New Testament era and eventually under persecution by the seventh (and eighth) world kingdoms.
Paul wrote nine letters to churches, and as I’ve noted before, those nine letters correspond to the seven parables of Christ of Matthew Chapter 13, and the seven church ages found in Revelation, each account giving a different view of the Christian’s journey through the New Testament era, from the new birth to the bride, and a historical foretelling of the journey of the church over two millenniums.
All of these accounts, in a measure, are foretold in symbols and types from the account of creation, which is also reflected in the last 6,000 years or so from Adam to today.)
****
Is it any wonder with the uptick in “spirituals,” i.e., the accelerated and deepening moves of the Holy Spirit over the last 500 hundred years, and the gathering, promotion, and deepening move of darkness in our culture and society, God has birthed ministries over the last number of decades to invite men and women into being “fathered,” and, into “intimate conversation.”
Fathering and conversational intimacy is inseparable.
How can we be truly fathered by God if we’re not learning how to hear his voice, and, a willing, ready, and eager student for conversational intimacy.
This is not something to be feared, but sought.
Like most things in the natural and spiritual realm, it will take time, effort, patience and more patience.
But God is more than able to walk you and me through the challenges and obstacles to hearing his voice in an atmosphere of confidence and trust and protection.
From the beginning of time to today, the Lord has been speaking to men and women. The Bible is replete with examples of God talking to men and women.
(The Gospel of John and the book of Hebrews are good resources in the study of hearing the voice of the Lord.)
Conflicting Beliefs, Thoughts, & Voices
Hopefully, our desire is to hear the voice of the Lord, our bridegroom.
The voice of him who stands outside of time and space holding creation in his fingertips.
What a privilege and honor to be invited to hear the voice of the King of Kings; to be so valued, esteemed, and treasured by him, he would desire to speak “personally” to his sons and daughters.
It is out of his heart and design we were created for fellowship, friendship, conversation, intimacy and union.
It is not a burden or something to be feared, but an invitation to know and hear the voice of the one who bore all things for you and me.
And yet, many Christians have conflicting beliefs, thoughts, and other voices hindering the lines of communication the Lord desires to establish with them.
And some struggle fearing the enemy’s deception and counterfeit.
The enemy would like nothing better than to weave so many machinations and fears Christians become paralyzed from receiving the “food” the Lord has laboriously and diligently prepared for them.
Hearing from the Lord
Jesus invites us into an open and vulnerable relationship, the privilege and honor to boldly come into his presence, the courtroom of the living God, in the presence of our accuser and enemy, and boldly present our petitions and prayer to renounce his claims, because of the testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
His response may take time. I’ve had the Lord speak to me a day or longer on something that I’ve inquired of him.
And of course, sometimes he answers through situations, other people, his word, and circumstances.
But sometimes, he answers me directly with a few words or phrase. Not audibly from the outside, but inwardly – speaking directly to me on the inside – just as real and authentic as if he was standing right next to me.
It’s a journey and a process I’m only a few years into. Some, like John Eldredge, and other ministers on the front lines, have been hearing from the Lord for many more years.
The “selling point” of Christianity to a lost and dying world is our testimony of a personal relationship with Christ, the Son of God, our Lord and Savior.
I can think of no better way of testifying to the reality of the Lord Jesus Christ, the saving power of his cross, the inspiration of Scripture, one life, one way, one truth, and the reality of the world to come, than the testimony of intimacy with our Savior.
And how can we have intimacy if we have not some measure of conversation?
Jesus said to the Jewish leaders, “‘…You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you…’” (NIV, John 5:37 – 38)
We certainly don’t want that said of us, two millenniums down the stretch, holding the completed Scriptures in our hands – having access to resources never available before in history – to be known as those who do not desire and make provision for learning how to hear his voice.
To the church in Philadelphia, Jesus says, “‘…I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches…’” (NIV, Revelation 3:12 – 13)
How can we receive the new name the Lord has for us if we do not have an open line of communication with him?
The new name the Lord has for us is not when we get to heaven but for here.
The promises of God to the church are for this life and not the next.
The enemy has worked overtime through the ages to convince the church to somehow just make it to the other side while all the time Jesus has oceans of grace waiting to bring us into relationship with him now, that we might be intimate with him now, advancing his kingdom.
Who else is going to speak to us certain things we need to hear at certain times that only he knows?
Jesus delights in new things and surprises, and maybe, there’s a new thing and a surprise for you around the next corner in your journey with Christ.
It’s never too late with Jesus.
The Enemy
The enemy may know more about us than we give him credit.
If a person thinks they can shelter themselves from the enemy and avoid all possibilities of any kind of deception by eliminating or limiting conversational intimacy with the Lord, then I would suggest you consider the following.
First of all, the clear teaching of Scripture is to know, listen, and hearken to the voice of the Lord.
(John Chapter 4, Hebrews 3:7 – 19, 5:7 – 10, 11:4, 11:7, 11:8, 11:18, 12:5 – 13, and 12:25, for example. The Scripture is filled with examples too numerous to mention of the Lord speaking directly from Adam to the writing of the New Testament, and to men and women across the globe.)
Second, the enemy has a notebook on us – he knows the agreements we have with him, knowing more about certain areas of our lives than we do.
(The enemy is fragmented, conflicted, and at times at odds among themselves over certain areas of one’s life, having access to certain areas, measures of influence, and even strongholds, because of legally binding contracts one has entered with him that only the cross of Christ can sever.)
He’s been dealing with men and women for 6,000 years and knows intimately our frailties, weaknesses, family relationships, wounds, brokenness, and sins.
All of us, in one form and measure or another, have unrighteous agreements in our lives we believe, hold as truth, and live life by.
And there are agreements spoken over our lives we may or may not even be aware.
Many of these agreements have come to us through the generations, and, our own embracing of wounds and sins.
Many operate deep within us.
We’re not aware they’re there except other than the occasional “surfacing” giving us a clue all is not well deep within the chambers of our being.
Other than the obvious bad fruit, we’ve got a lot of stuff going on within us only the revelation of the Lord to the resources he brings our way can bring healing and rest to those places of our being in opposition to Christ.
Part III
Back to 1 Timothy Chapter 4:1-5
This passage exposes Christians who have embraced a certain measure of darkness, departing from the “faith” of Christ, warning others not to “listen” to their teachings and be deterred from the fullness available in Christ.
Paul’s most urgent plea in this passage is not about being deceived in our trial and error efforts to seek the Lord for everything he has for us.
But to embrace the “faith” Christ pioneered and finished, in an attitude of “thanksgiving,” – not grumbling and complaining like Israel of old – who lost their chance to inherit the land of promise, dying in the wilderness, but thankful for the path of discipline, i.e., “fathering,” Christ prepared for you and me.
For, the faith Christ pioneered and finished is consecrated, holy and sacred, a journey of honor and privilege, one to be sought, an invitation to partake of the divine nature, the new creation, Christ purchased so dearly for you and me.
With fathering comes conversational intimacy. How could it be otherwise?
Paul is warning Timothy about those who have tasted the good fruits of the gospel and have turned aside, and are mouthpieces voicing teachings contrary to Scripture and Christ, hindering others from entering in to the deeper things God has consecrated for his sons and daughters.
If you are troubled, unsure about being fathered by God, or having doubts as to the importance of conversational intimacy with the Lord, for whatever reason, then this passage is for you.
Paul’s reference to marriage may include the earthly marriage, but it certainly includes the marriage of the bride to the bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The earthly marriage is a type of the heavenly marriage.
That marriage will not come about if we are not “eating” the “foods” consecrated by the Lord in his word and by prayer.
Remember Christ’s prayer that we may be one as he is one, with him and the Father – John 17:21?
Paul is not spending all his time and energy in this passage and his letter of instruction to Timothy to talk just about earthly marriage and earthly foods.
The heart of this passage is about those who have departed from the “faith” of Christ.
Not the faith “in” Christ, but the faith “of” Christ. (See an interlinear, Romans 3:22 and Galatians 3:22)
If one forsakes the faith of Christ, then you are forsaking the pattern of Christ likeness God established in Jesus Christ for you and me.
This is really important so let me say it another way.
Christ’s journey to completion and perfection required him to have faith in Father God.
Remember, he is the author and finisher of our faith.
I’ve quoted the Scripture so many times but it bears repeating, “Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him…” (NIV, Hebrews 5:8 – 9)
The passage in Timothy refers to those who have forsaken the path Christ pioneered, to be baptized with the baptism he was baptized with, to put to death the deeds of the body, made alive in spirit. (Romans 6, Ephesians 2, Hebrews 5, 1 Peter 3)
And the baptism Christ was baptized with could not have occurred outside of being fathered by God and conversational intimacy.
We are body, soul, and spirit, and all parts of us need food from God.
Our spirit has appetites and desires, the same with our soul, and of course our body.
Eve was tempted in all three of these areas and Christ as well. Paul and John refer separately to these three areas in their writings.
The baptism of Christ is designed by God to renew you and me, body, soul, and spirit.
Fathering, hearing the voice of the Lord, and the multitude of resources the Lord brings our way is “food” for our whole man.
The five foolish virgins of Matthew 25 are examples of those who have been forbidden to marry, hindered from gathering the necessary “food” to journey deeper in the things of God and become vessels for the Master’s use.
I wonder, who they may have listen to, or, who neglected to feed them and instruct them in the pattern so clearly laid out in Scripture of God’s grand plan in Christ to make men and women into his likeness and become one with him.
Why do so many find this forbidding?
Is not the grace of God and the work of Christ sufficient to accomplish whatever God sets his heart and mind?
The Scripture is not ambiguous in these matters.
For those of you who want to look up “spiritual food,” I refer you to 1 Corinthians 3:2, 1 Corinthians 10:3 – 4, John 4:34, John Chapter 6, and Hebrews 5:12.
Let’s be careful we do not reject the very thing meant to take you and me into the promised land, designed and patterned by God in his Son, established from the foundation of the world.
This is all about grace, the grace of Christ to do deep works in your life and mine; imparting his righteousness into those areas we apprehend, and yes, imputing righteousness into those areas we fail to apprehend.
Salvation is by grace and not by works, for all have sinned, except the perfect one.
His grace is sufficient and not a quantification or an outward appearance of holiness but a judgment made by Jesus they’ve apprehended all they’re capable.
Above all, seek Christ earnestly about these matters, with a whole heart, because the days are evil and the enemy desires to consume you and me with everything and everyone, other than the most precious gift God has waiting for us, Christ, and Christ alone.
Be noble, like the Bereans.
Part IV
Cleansing and Healing
And then there’s the nature of our body, soul, and spirit and all that it involves.
God designed the Gospel to reach all areas of our being – body, soul, and spirit (Romans 8:10 – 11, 2 Corinthians 7:1, and 1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Conventional inner healing, the breaking of agreements, cleansing of beliefs and vows, can only go so far.
It takes Christ’s personal intervention and ministry to the deep places in our lives – those areas secreted and hidden away – for yet a deeper experience in Christ, the Gospel, and restoration.
And this can only happen in the realm of grace, an actual “place” in the Spirit, a place you would not in the natural choose (Matthew 24:40, John 21:18, 1 Corinthians 4:5, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Galatians 1:15 – 16, Philippians 1:6, Colossians 3:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Timothy 4:1, Hebrews 9:28 and Chapter 12, and 1 Peter 1:13, etc.,).
This is not something you can do or decide, except prepare, like the wise virgins.
Jesus decides when one is ready and “chooses” you for the journey – the journey of the bride.
Some Christians call this being “harnessed to the Lord,” others, being taken beyond the “tomb and grave,” etc., the resurrection journey to walk in new life – the third and final feast of the Old Covenant fulfilled in the New.
Peter refers to Psalm 16 to describe Christ’s journey on the day of Pentecost – Christ’s personal journey before his ministry; the author of Hebrews describes Christ’s journey in “learning obedience,” and, Paul refers to Christ’s journey in many places, e.g., Ephesians 4:20-24; and Peter describes his being taken into grace in 1 Peter 1:13, and so does Paul and others in their writings.
This deep work is accomplished through a combination of tools the Lord uses to exert his will.
There are deep areas of our heart, desert wastelands, in need of reclamation.
Some wastelands will be turned into farmlands, others orchards, and still others ranches.
Each has its place in the kingdom of God, providing provision to the body of Christ.
The newborn in the faith need the basics to begin with, those easily digested.
Those farther along require stronger meat from the word of God.
And those farther along still will need harder to find, more exotic fruits, nuts, and other specialties.
Jesus desires to do the unimaginable in your life and mine. When the Lord begins a deep work in your life, you will know what I’m talking about.
It’s a long journey and a deeply holy and sacred process.
Let him take you to places in him you could not have imagined.
Final Thoughts
How much more do we, living in the 21st century, at the crossroads of history, more so than those in recent past, need clarity from the Lord, his voice spoken into the deep and intimate areas of our heart and life?
Now more than ever, we need all we can receive from Jesus.
Why would any not desire conversational intimacy with the Lord?
We, who have all things, 6,000 years of history, the completed writings and plan of God, the testimony of thousands, the gospel at our fingertips, have the resources to choose the path of the wise and not foolish.
Yes, it’s a journey and a process, and at times a battle – but it’s one worth taking!
Nothing in this world compares to the presence of Christ. Once you taste and see that the Lord is good, there is no turning back.
Bring your questions to him, those you do not want others to know, and he will be delighted to respond to your heart.
To be fathered by God, intimate with him, and others, is a sacred honor and privilege from the Lord to you and me.
Let’s be wise with the remaining time the Lord has given us. Now, more than ever, we need wisdom from heaven.
Finally, Jesus is more than capable of preparing you and me to be his bride.
The Scripture will be fulfilled. It is more certain than the Sun rising.
The question as always, “How much will we allow him to fulfill his plan and word in us?”
Jesus loves the foolish virgins, yet, they were not able to enter the wedding feast.
Their garments were soiled with the world, how could they be allowed to go in?
Jesus is not asking you to do the impossible, but he is wanting to do the impossible in you and me.
Just as every star differs in glory so shall it also be in the resurrection, and that begins this side of heaven.
Would you marry someone you don’t know (Matthew 25:12)?
Blessings, Drake
